Purple Gear

Purple gear is a step up from blue gear. Can be obtained through fusion, using fragments found in the Arena/market and items dropped from gold creatures. PLEASE NOTE: You can also purchase fragments in packs for real money.

You can look through the sets on the "Fuse" tab in your pack. Click on the FUSE button to see the requirements needed for each item.

In the example above, you would need 20 blue dragon griffon claws, 2 purple gold dragon souls, 2 blue off-hands and a blue chest piece to gain the purple Elemental Rage weapon.

Advanced Gear Components

The higher the level, the more chance of purple over blue
Gold mobs spawn in waves, 2 types together.
For example the millineum dragon and ragdolls spawn together and last for 24 hours, then it switches. I've tried to put the pairings together below.
You can purchase the blue drops from the Arena for 400 points.

Resetting Bonus Stats

Some greens, most blues and all purple gear have bonus stats (red underline). You can change that bonus by clicking on the yellow circled icon and using a reset stone or jewels. The bonus stats assigned are random so you may have to reset multiple times to get bonus stats that help you.

The new system of upgrading your gear uses steel.

Where Do I Get Steel?

Steel can be gotten from a variety of ways. The easiest is "fortifying" gear you aren't using. Please see the note below about locking gear.

Choose the gear you wish to trade for steel and click fortify (pink circle).

The pink circle is the amount of steel you will get by fortifying the checked (blue circles) gear. If you use Auto-Select (purple circle), it will first pick any greys. Then repeat the process and the 2nd time around, it will select all the greens you have, repeat for blues.

NOTE: Gear that has been locked can not be fortified until you choose to unlock it. Click the large padlock (orange circle) on the right to toggle between locked and unlocked. Locked gear will show a small padlock (blue circle) on the info page.

It's a good idea to lock all the gear your heroes wear. Additionally, I've found these sources for steel. It's a slow climb so take every opportunity to get these that you can.

  • Summoned Beasts - Lv20 gives 120 steel
  • Dragon Lair - wave9 gives you 50 steel; wave4 30 steel
  • Dragon Crusade - gives 160 for the top dragon; 150 steel for the second to the last
  • Gold Monsters - I did a 5x on a lv30 griffin and got 120 steel

NOTE: I have never gotten steel from killing regular monsters.

Any gear that has a small circle or 2 in the upper right hand corner can be upgraded by inlaying jewels to those spots.

As with gear, jewels can be upgraded by fusing 5 of the lower level together. For example, 5 grey jewels make a green, 5 greens make a blue and so on.
